Porters Algarve Ltd is a privately owned and managed, totally independent company with our main office in central England and also with a base in the Algarve.
It is run by Martin Boughton FRICS who has spent all his working life in property starting in 1966 when he joined the Chartered Auctioneers and Estate Agents Institute. He became an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1972 and a Fellow in 1987. After working in Warwickshire and Cornwall, he moved to Rutland in 1981 where he has lived ever since. A local housing spokesman for the RICS from 1990 to 1998, he has opened and operated a home search company in the Midlands and has successfully purchased property in the Algarve where he now concentrates his efforts.
With a personal knowledge of the region, his many contacts and an understanding of how the Portuguese property market works, he is ideally placed to find your next home in the Algarve. As a golfer, he can also advise on some of the best places to play!
